This policy explains how Headwaters Coaching LLC, operating as Headwaters Coaching & Counseling (“Headwaters”, “we”), collects and uses information through headwaterscoach.com and through the text messages we send to coaching clients.
What we collect
- Contact form. Your first and last name, email address, phone number if you give it, the service you are interested in, and any practical note you add. The form deliberately asks for no health information.
- Coaching text messages. If you are a coaching client and agree to receive texts, we keep your mobile phone number, the date you agreed, the messages we send you, and the replies and check-in answers you send back.
- Basic site data. Our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address and browser type to deliver and secure the site. We do not use advertising trackers.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to you, to schedule and provide coaching, to send the reminders and check-in questions you agreed to receive, and to keep the record of that agreement. Text messages are part of coaching only. Therapy and other clinical services are not discussed by text.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that run this website and our messaging, such as our web host, our email provider and our text message provider, and only so they can perform that service for us. They may not use it for anything else.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver the messages.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help.
- Email andrew@headwaterscoach.com to ask what we hold about you or to have it corrected or deleted, subject to records we must keep as a licensed professional.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form messages and text message records for as long as you are a client and for a reasonable period afterwards, and records of your text message consent for as long as we may need to show it.
